Cause HE deserves SOME MAJOR BRAGGING on, right?
I heard one of the most amazing testimonies yesterday at our staff meeting. When I think of talking to people, whether up front in a crowded room, or just chatting with a friend, I have always felt that sharing about what Jesus is most important. I can’t stop talking about Him and more importantly I can’t stop hearing about Him. The girl who shared her testimony radiated God’s love with her words and actions…it just blew me away. I love it when in the midst of a storm (her words), learning to trust Him was on her mind. It was of dire importance, in fact, she might say, it was all she had! I won’t go into great length only because it’s her story and not mine, but suffice it to say, in the midst of the storm, God cares about our needs and about our wants and she was living proof of it.
After pondering what she said, and sharing it with my husband…tears and all, it really got me thinking about the Lord and what all He has done for me, for us, for our kids.
He never disappoints.
He never contradicts.
He never lies.
He always listens.
He is always there.
And my voice, my tears, my actions, are never out of His sight.
He knows my heart…my real heart…not the blah words coming out when I am mad, sad, or frustrated. There isn’t a single thing I haven’t thought that He hasn’t known about. There isn’t one day that I have lived that He hasn’t been watching over me. And there will never be a moment, no matter how far away I feel from Him, that He isn’t ordaining the steps of this journey.
Isn’t He good?
