Mom in the Fishbowl

The day after David’s birthday, I was sitting at the computer and it was just about bedtime for him. He came to me and said “Mom, I have really been thinking about the decision of having Jesus in my heart.”  I was a little floored, because it was so surreal. This was the day I had prayed for. The day I had longed for…when Jesus was really knocking on his heart and he was ready to accept all God did and has planned for him.

After talking with him for a bit I waited till Jeremy came in from outside and we could pray with him.  It was an awesome moment to hear the words of David’s heart and him to accept all Jesus did on the cross for him.

He came forward this past Sunday, Mother’s Day, to tell the church of his decision to accept Christ.

I can’t wait to see what God has planned for Him…no matter what that boy’s heart is spoken for.
